Balham Shop Interior
This conceptual feasibility study for a restaurant in Balham explored the potential of a lightweight modular interior defined through material contrast and serial assembly. Developed as an early-stage design investigation, the proposal combined polished stainless steel with textured recycled orange foam to establish a spatial language that balanced precision with warmth. Through iterative modelling, the project tested how a restrained kit of parts could organise circulation, seating and enclosure, using repetition, adaptability and material performance to shape a distinctive interior environment.
