Hope Theatre Set
Designed for a production at the Hope Theatre, this temporary installation transformed an existing performance space through a flexible interior of suspended chain curtains and a series of movable two- and three-dimensional white volumes. The set was conceived as an adaptable spatial system, allowing the configuration of the stage to shift throughout the performance as elements were repositioned to create new thresholds, enclosures and viewpoints. Working with a restrained material palette, the project explored how simple components could continually redefine the relationship between performers, audience and space.
